South Lenches Parish Council is the Data Controller under data protection law and will use information to provide an effective service whilst safeguarding users’ privacy. Collection of some personal information is necessary if the Council is to satisfy the expectations and requirements of our users.
The Council will never disclose personal details without the consent of the owner unless required to by law. Information will be used exclusively by South Lenches Parish Council for the communication of official Parish Council business and such information that the Council and its Officer deem appropriate to pass on.
Details are held for as long as is necessary for Parish Council business, normally not more than 7 years.
Your information will not be shared further without your consent. It will not be given or sold on to a third party. You can withdraw your consent at any time by notifying us.
Subject access request.
Individuals can find out if we hold any personal information by making a ‘subject access request’ under the General Data Protection Regulations. If we do hold information about you we will:

- tell you who it could be disclosed to; and
- let you have a copy of the information in an intelligible form.
